BYLC had the pleasure of hosting a memorial service alongside a Church in Coventry.
Sunday 19th November
St George's Church,
Barkers Butts Lane,
Coundon, Coventry,

Because Your Life Counts organised a memorial service for those who had lost their lives to road traffic collisions in Coundon. Coventry has seen a number of deaths due to RTCs in recent months
BYLC trustees joined together with Vicar Jennifer Wickham to hold the memorial service which allowed local members of the community to join together to light candles for their loved ones.
The service was attended by the local Police, the Ambulance Service, the Fire Brigade, British Transport Police, Transport for West Midlands, Representation from 159 Regiment RLC, and local Councilors Gavin Llyod and Patricia Hetherton. The local MP was represented by Councillor Angela Hopkins.

From 999 responders to administrative staff, Pete explains how it is not just those involved at the scene of the collisions who are hit by the brutal reality of road fatalities.
