MotoFest 2023 Coventry

BYLC attended Coventry’s MotoFest on 3rd & 4th June 2023. MotoFest is held annually in Coventry and is a spectacular display of vehicles from across the world. This event is a unique blend of racing demonstrations, static displays, live music, and anything else with a connection to Coventry, transport, and the city’s motoring heritage.

This year BYLC had the pleasure of operating a stand at the festival with a focus on using our ‘drunk’ goggles. We introduced a game to see the difference between clear sober vision compared to being under the influence of drink or drugs. The results were fantastic and BYLC had plenty of engagement from the local people in Coventry, from teenagers to the police! It was evident to see the difference when under the influence and there was on average over three times the amount of time taken to complete the challenge with the drunk buster beer goggles on.

BYLC also conducted an eyesight checks, this was to demonstrate the legal level of vision required to drive a vehicle safely, which is 20 meters which is approximately 5 car lengths.

We were able to engage with plenty of likeminded individuals, where cars and speed were at the forefront of the event, we acted as reminder that road safety is still paramount and that the event was done in a safe, controlled and legal environment.

We would like to thank everyone that visited our stall and took photos with our photo board!
