After years of promoting road safety, under the brand of SmartLearner Driving School, we realised that we needed to do more. In 2019, we became a registered charity with the sole focus of reducing the number of unnecessary deaths that are caused by road traffic collisions every year.
We started off by delivering road safety sessions at local schools, colleges, and universities. We hoped that informing young adults about the potentially fatal choices they could make while driving could prevent poor driving practices, therefore reducing their chances of being involved in a collision.
Made up of members from all walks of life, BYLC is truly a diverse team that promotes road safety through past experiences. We are members who care about the local community and want to inspire change to work towards a safe community for all road users.
Through the delivery of effective presentations, networking events, and campaigns we hope to help achieve our aim, which is to go every day, without a road death. We hope by partnering with local institutions as well as national organisations, together we can help make the road safer for all users.
