Because Your Life Counts saw the end of Road Safety Week 2022 commemorated alongside Coventry City Councilors, Gavin Lloyd and Patricia Hetherton with the famous Coventry Whittle Arch being lit up in the colours of the BYLC charity. The famous Arch was lit in red as an act of remembrance with the Coventry Observer also attending the light switch.

Because Your Life Counts would like to extend their greatest thanks to those who attended the evening. We hope to make this a yearly thing with Road Safety Week bringing greater awareness to the city each year.

The rationale behind the light change was that we wanted to make the City stop and think Why? it is very rare for the Whittle Arch to be lit up in this manner, and this is the first of its kind when it comes to utilising the busy area within the city centre.
